The European History Study Group, including Russian history, meets on Zoom once every three months, with an emphasis on functioning as a book club, meaning that we select specific books for discussion at our meetings. Films relating to European history may also be considered as historical sources for the study of European history.
The Group is always open to specific Europe-related topics suggested by participants, including discussions by members of their own interests in European history, as well as their research and works-in-progress. Topics may extend from Europe’s earliest days to the present. Members interested in participating in the European History Study Group are invited to contact Bert Gordon, bmgordon@berkeley.edu.
